Summit for the AnimalsHistory of the Summit for AnimalsThe National Council for Animal Protection has its roots in the Summit for the Animals, founded in 1985 by Belton Mouras of what was then called the United Animal Nations. Every year the Summit brings together the leaders of key animal protection groups from across in the United States to share information, experience, and lay the groundwork for future collaboration.
